The DKM-UX20M LCD monitor keyboard drawer all-in-one server management console is a rackmount slide-out keyboard tray that stores three frequently used peripheral devices of a typical data center or server management environment—flat panel LCD monitor, keyboard and mouse. Using a fold-down flat panel monitor design, the DKM-UX20M LCD monitor keyboard drawer offers a low profile rackmountable tray that takes up only 2 rack unit space.
The LCD monitor keyboard drawer is mounted on slide rails so you can easily pull out the unit from your equipment rack. The keyboard tray slides out for LCD and keyboard access and remain hidden when not in use. Using a clamshell design, the LCD monitor flips up for use and folds down for storage. The LCD monitor keyboard drawer uses a high quality AC/DC adapter for power. The adapter can be easily detached in the event that it needs to be replaced.
When it comes to navigating a graphical user inteface, a mouse offers much better point-and-click precision than a touchpad pointing device.
The monitor keyboard drawer has a mouse pad for mouse movement and a convenient storage compartment for the included optical mouse.
The DKM-UX20M LCD monitor keyboard drawer includes a large 20.1 inch UXGA high resolution LCD monitor so more information can be displayed on-screen. And with its 700:1 contrast ratio, a level approaching that of CRT monitors, you'll be able to distinguish the subtle shades of color or gray in your graphics images. The LCD's lower power consumption and EMI free technology makes it ideal for industrial applications. And with its optimum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, you can work more and scroll less, because you can put more information on screen instead of cluttering it with menus and tool bars. An on-screen display (OSD) menu using four control buttons let's you adjust the display for optimum viewing.
Instead of using a notebook style touchpad, the DKM-UX20M LCD monitor keyboard drawer comes with an optical mouse. A convenient storage compartment and a mouse pad are also part of the keyboard tray. Now you can take advantage of a high resolution mouse for high precision point and click navigation.
The entire LCD monitor keyboard drawer is constructed of metal for ruggedness. The slide-out keyboard tray is shipped with ball-bearing slide rails already attached to the unit. Rack mounting brackets can be extended from 19.4" up to 35.3" accomodating a wide range of equipment racks with different depth.
