The PPC-1000 is a Point-of-Service (POS) touch screen computer designed to offer flexible system configurations using Intel Pentium III and Pentium 4-based system platforms.
Touch screen options include resistive touch screen and surface acoustic wave touch screen technologies to fit your installation needs. You can install it as a table-top POS terminal or panel-mount, VESA arm-mount operator terminal.

The PPC-1000 touch screen computer is a series of Intel® Pentium® 4 and Pentium® III based industrial PC with 15”/12" touch screen LCD designed to serve as a friendly human-machine interface for easy integration into any point-of-service (POS), point-of-sales applications that requires a touch screen computer user interface. It provides full PC functionality within its compact chassis. Coupled with its multi-I/O and expansion capability, the PPC-1000 touch screen computer stands ready to accommodate a wide range of PC peripherals for a host of applications such as operator panels, information terminals.
The PPC-1000 touch screen computer has an integrated 15” or 12" TFT LCD for information display. You can use a standard keyboard/mouse as your input device, an IrDA input device, or integrate the PPC-1000 with a touch screen to serve as the user interface. Resistive and surface acoustic wave touch screens are available as options.
System integrated features include Ethernet, USB, digital I/O, VGA, RS232 serial and EPP/ECP parallel interfaces. Its storage devices include floppy drive, optical disc drive and 3.5" EIDE hard drive. And if additional functions are required, two PCI expansion slots are available for add-on cards.
The PPC-1000 is designed for installing in a wide range of operating environments. With desktop pedestal stands, the PPC-1000 can be used as free-standing POS touch screen computer terminal. Without the pedestal stand, the PPC-1000 can be panel mounted for panel computer applications, wall mounted and swivel-arm mounted to fit different installation requirements.
