8-port Console KVM Switch with LCD Monitor and Keyboard

Our rack console with KVM switch product line offers data center managers a convenient and space-saving solution for controlling multiple computers. Each LCD console kit comes with integrated 8-port KVM switch. What you have is a combination of a keyboard video mouse (console) switch, flat panel LCD monitor, keyboard, and touch pad mouse pointing device — all in a mere 1U of rack space.

The rack mount console is constructed of metal for ruggedness. Using a unique clamshell design, the flat panel LCD flips up for use and folds down for storage — saving valuable rack space. Ball-bearing slide rails are mounted on the unit so the entire tray can be easily pulled out from the rack for use and stowed away for storage.

The console KVM switch lets you control up to 8 PCs or servers. By cascading additional KVM switches, as many as 120 computers can be controlled with just a single unit. The KVM switches are hot pluggable and features auto-sensing of station position on daisy chained installations — no need for manual DIP switch setting. It has password security feature ensuring that only authorized users can view and control connected PCs or servers. This convenient and easy-to-operate switch controls all ports using hot keys or the mouse-driven OSD (On-Screen Display) menus.

Console switch with 8 port keyboard video mouse switch (KVM switch)

Our family of server console switches with 8-port KVM switch is a rack mount flat panel console KVM switch kit that enables you to control your rack mount servers using a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. The LCD monitor keyboard drawer console switches enable you to control large computer networks using a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. The 8-port server console switch uses an On-Screen Display (OSD) interface and pushbuttons on the keyboard for accessing each attached computer. Additional KVM switches can be connected to the primary switch, called cascading, to increase computer access. Cascading console switches allows you to modify your Server Console Switch system, as your network system needs change.

New USB KVM switch supports universal serial bus input devices. For USB enabled computers, these server console switches support USB input devices. There are two dedicated cascading ports so all KVM ports can be used to control PCs and servers.
