16-port Console KVM Switches with LCD Monitor and Keyboard

Our server console switch product line offers data center managers a convenient and space-saving solution for controlling multiple computers. Each LCD console kit with integrated 16-port KVM switch combines a keyboard video mouse (console) switch, flat panel LCD monitor, keyboard, and touch pad mouse pointing device — all in a mere 1U of rack space.

The monitor keyboard mouse slide out drawer is constructed of metal for ruggedness. Using a unique laptop computer type clamshell design, the flat panel LCD flips up for use and folds down for storage — saving valuable rack space. Ball-bearing slide rails are mounted on the unit so that the entire assembly can be easily pulled out from the rack for use and stowed away for storage. The dual rail design lets you hide the keyboard while allowing the LCD remain displayed even with cabinet door closed.

The KVM switch lets you control up to 128 PCs or servers by cascading additional KVM switches. The hot pluggable KVM switch features auto-sensing of station position on daisy chained installations — no need for manual DIP switch setting. It has two-level password security feature that accommodates up to four users, plus an administrator, with separate profiles for each, ensuring that only authorized users can view and control connected PCs or servers. This convenient and easy-to-operate switch controls all ports using hot keys or the mouse-driven OSD (On-Screen Display) menus. Its firmware upgrade port allows continual firmware upgrades.
