Full PC Functionality in a Compact Panel-mount or VESA-mount Chassis: PPC-120 panel PC uses a small form factor system board that supports Intel dual core and Celeron M processors. Intel 945GME chipset provide most of the functions of peripherals and I/O interfaces.

OS support include Windows 2000, and XP versions. And you have all of the input/output ports typically found on desktop PC systems to connect the PPC-120 to your LAN or external peripherals.
Fully Integrated I/O and PCI Expansion Slots: Standard I/O interfaces such as dual Gigabit Ethernet, USB, RS-232, audio, VGA, parallel and serial ports lets you use the PPC-120 panel PC not only HMI, but also as a host PC to build your applications on.

In addition, PPC-120 supports two industry standard, commercial off-the-shelf PCI cards as add-ons to expand its capability. Because most of the I/O functions are provided by the integrated chipsets on the system board, the 2-slot riser card gives you two open PCI slots.
Touch Screen Options that Fits Your Application: PPC-120 offers two touch screen technologies - resistive and SAW (surface acoustic wave) to fit your application requirements.

While each technology has its relative advantages and disadvantages (see Integration/Application Tips for more information), by having these options, you are able to choose the touch screen type that best matches your interface requirements for usability, cost, durability, appearance.
Ingress Protection in Harsh Environments: PPC-120 with the aluminum front bezel has a NEMA 4 (and approximately equivalent IP65) rated front bezel.

This means that it is suitable for both indoors and outdoors use, and the front panel is protected against ingress of dirt, rain, sleet, snow, wind-blown dust, splashing water.
