MPC-1700 series portable workstation provides a totally integrated solution for mobile computing applications requiring industrial
ruggedness, robustness and system configurations found in desktop workstations.
The chassis supports Micro-ATX and ATX form factor motherboards. This means the latest motherboard designed for desktop PCs and workstations are available to you to customize it with your processor and peripheral options.
Use our base configurations as starting points and add your choice of processors and peripherals. You have dual-core and quad-core CPUs for processor intensive, multi-thread applications, PCI-X and PCI-Express slots for add-on cards. And RAID controllers that supports both Windows and Linux operating systems.- A total of five drive bays for hard drives and optical storage devices.
The MPC-1700 portable workstation has five drive bays. Two of which are slim floppy and slim optical drive bays. There are two shock-mounted 3.5" drive bays for hard disks, and one 5.25" drive bay for either optical disk drive or a hard disk removable rack.
