Rack console designed for server management combines flip-up LCD monitor, slide-out keyboard. Dual rails for independent extraction of the monitor and keyboard

Dual rail DMK520 front side view

The family of DMK520 Server Console enables you to control your server using a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Its dual-rail design represents an intelligent use of rack space. Essentially, two sets of slide rails are attached to the LCD and keyboard allowing each component to slide in and out of the rack independent of the other.

The operator can hide the keyboard while still allow the LCD to remain displayed, even if the rack door is closed. And it gives an additional level of server management security by having the keyboard hidden to prevent unauthorized access.

Panel mounting the PPC-100 using the supplied L-brackets

This is one of the schemes to panel-mount the PPC-100 using the L-brackets that come with the product. A pair of L-brackets as shown are included with your PPC-100. They are designed so that the system chassis is fastened to the wide side, and the narrow side is for fastening to the panel/kiosk.

  1. On the narrow side of the L-bracket, these thru holes are used for screws that fasten the L-brackets (and system chassis) to the panel or kiosk.
  2. Alternately, these threaded studs can be used for screws that fasten the L-brackets (and system chassis) to the panel or kiosk.
  3. The system chassis is fastened to the wide side of the L-bracket by screws that are inserted through these slots. The slots let you adjust the L-brackets to accomodate different panel thickness (wood panel, sheet metal panel or other materials).
