The PPC-100 panel PC is designed to offer flexible system configuration with Intel Pentium 4-based systems.
Standard configuration includes: Intel Pentium 4 processor @ 2.8GHz, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drisk, resistive touch screen, and CD-ROM. It comes with aluminum front bezel as well as optional metal bezels of different sizes. Panel-mounting hardware is included.
The PPC-100 is a series of Intel® Pentium® 4 based panel PCs designed to serve as a friendly human-machine interface for easy integration into any space-constricted embedded applications. It provides full PC functionality within its compact chassis. Coupled with its multi-I/O and expansion capability, the PPC-100 panel PC stands ready to accommodate a wide range of PC peripherals for a host of applications such as operator panels, information terminals, point-of-sales and point-of-service PCs.
The PPC-100 comes with three LCD screen sizes; 12", 15" and 17". Resistive or surface acoustic wave touch screens are supported. System integrated features include dual Ethernet, USB 2.0, digital I/O, VGA, RS232/422/485 serial and EPP/ECP parallel interfaces. Its storage devices include floppy drive, optical disc drive and 3.5" EIDE hard drive. And if additional functions are required, two PCI expansion slots are available for add-on cards.
The PPC-100 panel PC is designed for universal panel mounting to fit different installation requirements. Special industrial features not commonly seen in commercial systems such as watchdog timer and water/dust proof front panel makes it a best choice for the operation in hostile environments.
