On the back side of the anodized aluminum bezel, there is a foam rubber gasket that provides ingress protection once the system is panel-mounted. This means that it is suitable for both indoors and outdoors use, and the front panel is protected against ingress of dirt, rain, sleet, snow, wind-blown dust, splashing water.
